Our Love Story

Maybe instead of a "love story" our's  is  more like a novel or RomCom.

We both swiped "right" in 2019. Our first date was at the Yard House in the Austin Domain. Justin brought a gift of gummy bears and later Leah choked on a Serrano pepper at the dinner table. After, the eventful and memorable first date, the novel began. We dated, meet each others' friends, and started building a relationship. Then, COVID! 2020 was wild for everyone and certain added a lot of twists and turns to our romance novel. Leah moved back to Missouri to be near family, while Justin remained in Texas. After a period of "writer's block" we rebooted the RomCom in 2022. This chapter took time to collaborate as there was still the factor of physical distance. In 2023 the main characters finally moved in together in Texas. The pages kept turning through trials, tribulations, triumphs, and travels. Paragraphs, turned into chapters until we realized we were ready to close a great book in Round Rock. As we've started writing the next book in our sequel the scene opens in Mexico, February 2026, with an engagement! The first few chapters are filled with excitement including a move to north Texas, traveling with 4 dogs and a cat, saying goodbye to our kids and friends,  saying hello to our family nearby, a health and healing journey, and a home for our new life together. We are thrilled to watch the WEDDING scene come to life! Stay tuned for more adventures, as we have plans for several additional books in our series.
